Exporting to CorelDRAW or Corel DESIGNER

Use the ExportCorel command to export the current drawing either to CorelDRAW® or to Corel DESIGNER®.

The command creates .cdr or .des files at a specified file location.

You can specify the Sheets you want to export.

To export the current drawing to a CorelDRAW or Corel DESIGNER file:

  1. Click File > Export > Export CDR (or type ExportCorel).
  2. In the dialog box, specify the Sheets (model and/or layouts) you want to export:
  3. Click check boxes to select or unselect Sheets.
  4. Click Select all to select all Sheets.
  5. Click Clear all to unselect all Sheets.
  6. Click OK.
  7. In the Specify file name dialog box,
    • navigate to the folder where you want to store the file,
    • type a name for the file,
    • from the Save as type list, select the Corel application you want to export to:
      • CorelDRAW (.cdr file format), or
      • Corel DESIGNER (.des file format)
  8. The specified drawing sheets are converted to the specified file format.
