Changing the Status Bar Coordinate Display

Use the DisplayCoords command to specify the mode to track your pointer movements on the status bar.

To change the status bar coordinate display:

  1. Type DisplayCoords at the command prompt.
  2. Specify an option:
    • Dynamic. Absolute coordinates are constantly updated on the status bar when you move your pointer.
    • Relative. When prompted for a distance or angle, the distance and angle from the last specified point are displayed when you move the pointer, otherwise absolute coordinates are displayed.
    • Static. Coordinate display updates only when clicking in the graphics area.

  4. Press F6 repeatedly to change the coordinate display modes.
  5. Press F6 repeatedly to change the coordinate display modes.
  6. Press Fn + F6 repeatedly to change the coordinate display modes.
