Creating a Datasmith File from a Drawing

Use the ExportDatasmith command to export the current 3D drawing to Datasmith file format (*.udatasmith).

To create a Datasmith file from a drawing:

1. Click File > Export > Export Datasmith (or type ExportDatasmith).

2. In the dialog box, specify the following:

   • Save in: Navigate to the folder where you want to store the file.

   • File name: Type a name for the file.

3. Click Save.

   The command generates the .udatasmith file and an assets folder.
