Editing Hatches and Fills

You can modify hatch patterns, solid color fills, or gradient color fills. You can then add additional entities to the set of entities to be hatched or filled.

To edit a hatch pattern:

1. Specify an existing hatch.

2. On the Hatch Editor contextual ribbon tab you can modify:

   • The hatch pattern

   • The angle and scale

   • The hatch starting point

   • The boundary

3. Use the Hatch Editor contextual ribbon tab for:

   • Setting Additional Options for Hatches and Gradient Fills

   • Setting Behavior Options for Hatch and Fill Boundaries

   • Controlling the Direction of Hatches and Gradient Fills

   You can also add additional entities to the set of entities to be edited.

4. Click Close.

To edit a color fill:

1. Click Modify > Entity > Hatch (or type EditHatch).

2. Specify an existing hatch.

3. In the Hatch/Fill dialog box, select Fill to update the color fill.

   You can also add additional entities to the set of entities to be edited.

Command: EditHatch

Menu: Modify > Entity > Hatch

Ribbon: Home > Modify > (Flyout) Edit Hatch

Tool Palettes: Modify > Edit Hatch
