Modifying Display Properties of Images¶
You can change several properties, such as brithness, contrast, and fade for the display of images that you attached to the drawing. Your changes do not affect the original image file and other instance of the image in the drawing.
To adjust brightness, contrast, and fade of an image:
In the graphics area, specify the image to modify.
When the ribbon is active, the Image Selection contextual ribbon tab appears.
On the Adjust panel, specify the values:
Brightness. Adjusts brightness to darken or lighten an image.
Contrast. Adjusts fade and background transparency to see the drawing entities over images.
Fade. Specifies the referenced image to which you want to apply a clipping boundary.
To change the transparency of an image:
In the graphics area, specify the image to modify.
When the ribbon is active, the Image Selection contextual ribbon tab appears.
In Miscellaneous > Transparency, select Yes or No to change the image to transparent or to opaque.
