Creating, Opening, Closing, and Saving Drawings¶
Creating a New Drawing
To create a new drawing:
Do one of the following:
On the Start Page, click New.
On the menu, click File > New.
On the Standard toolbar, click New
.Type New at the command prompt.
Press Ctrl + N.
Opening an Existing Drawing
To open an existing drawing:
Do one of the following:
On the Start Page, click Open.
On the menu, click File > Open.
On the Standard toolbar, click Open
.Type Open at the command prompt.
Press Ctrl + O.
Closing a Drawing
To close a drawing:
Do one of the following:
Click File > Close.
Type Close at the command prompt.
Press Ctrl + F4.
Saving a Drawing
To save a drawing:
Do one of the following:
Click File > Save.
On the Standard toolbar, click Save
.Type Save at the command prompt and type a file name in the Save File dialog box.
Use the SaveAs command to save the drawing under a different name or in a different location.
Press Ctrl + S.
