Use the DGNMapping command to create, edit, and delete user-defined DGN mapping setups. You can configure DGN mapping setups separately, or during the DGN export process.
The command opens the DGN Mapping Setups Manager dialog box.
To create a DGN mapping setup:
Alternatively, you can access the DGN Mapping Setups Manager dialog box during the export process: in the DGN Export dialog box, in DWG to DGN Mapping, click DGN Mapping Setups Manager.
To rename a DGN mapping setup:
You can rename only user defined mapping setups.
Alternatively, you can access the DGN Mapping Setups Manager dialog box during the export process: in the DGN Export dialog box, in DWG to DGN Mapping, click DGN Mapping Setups Manager.
To modify a DGN mapping setup:
Alternatively, you can access the DGN Mapping Setups Manager dialog box during the export process: in the DGN Export dialog box, in DWG to DGN Mapping, click DGN Mapping Setups Manager.
The Modify DGN Mapping Setup dialog box appears. You can modify the properties and description of the selected mapping setup.
To delete a DGN mapping setup:

The DGN Mapping Setups Manager dialog box groups options for managing mapping setups for DWG to DGN conversions. You can do the following:
Lists the existing mapping setups and the description of the selected mapping setup, if available.
You can sort the list by clicking the column header. Sequential clicks switch between ascending and descending order.
Right-click a mapping setup from the list displays a context menu.
Lets you define a new mapping setup.
Specifies a name for a user defined mapping setup.
Opens the Modify DGN Mapping Setup dialog box, where you can edit a user defined mapping setup. You can also double-click a mapping setup to edit it.
Deletes a user defined mapping setup.
The Modify DGN Mapping Setup dialog box groups the options for configuring mapping setups. The dialog box contains the following tabs:
You can create a new mapping setup by modifying a copy of an existing mapping setup. You can either modify mapping setups manually, or you can import properties from DWG or DGN files.
Lets you map the layers to levels in the DGN column.
You can only make changes in the DGN column. Double-clicking a cell switches to editing mode. You can type a value or specify one from the drop-down list.
Lets you map each line style from the DWG file to a DGN line style. You can change existing mappings to suit your requirements.

Lists line weights defined in the DWG file and lets you map them to line weights in the DGN file.
You can only make changes in the DGN column. Double-clicking a cell switches to editing mode. You can type a value or specify one from the drop-down list.
Options from the context menu let you copy and paste single or multiple line weights.
Lets you map color values from the DWG file to colors defined in the DGN file. By default, all colors from the DWG file are mapped to their closest suitable color value from the DGN file. You can specify additional color conversion according to requirements.
To add new entries to the color mapping, right-click and select Add Color from the context menu.
Double-clicking a cell switches to editing mode. You can type the color number, specify a value from the drop-down list, or select a color from the Line Color dialog box.
Note: Colors in the DWG column must be unique.
