Importing Print Configurations from Another Drawing

Use the PageLayoutIn command to import user-defined Print Configurations contained in other drawing files (.dwg), drawing exchange files (.dxf), or drawing template files (.dwt) into the current drawing.

Alternatively, you can import Print Configurations using the Page Layout Manager.

To import Print Configurations from another drawing:

  1. Type PageLayoutIn at the command prompt.
  2. In the dialog box, select the file name that contains the Print Configurations you want to import and click Open.
  3. In the Import Print Configurations dialog box, select one or more Print Configurations to import. Click OK.

If a Print Configuration with a same name already exists in your drawing, you can overwrite it with the imported Print Configuration.

Note: The imported Print Configurations appear in the Print Configuration Manager, in the Print Configurations list for the current sheet.
