You can create tools from tables and add them on a separate tool palette. For example, you can create tools for custom tables with predefined content in the title and header area and share them with your team. Thus, you can avoid retyping standard information.
Once you have the tables on the Tool Palette, you can drag them into the graphics area whenever it is necessary.
To add a tool based on an table:
Note: Before starting, make sure the Tool Palette is displayed.
The tool for creating tables appears on the Tool Palette.
Note: The tool is saved with information from the original entity. To create an empty table tool, clear the fields of the table before dragging the table onto the palette.
To use the new tool, on the Tool Palette, click the new table tool and click or specify the position in the graphics area.
To edit the properties of a table tool:
If you want to preserve existing data links for the tool, set Data links to Yes.
Tip:Set all options to No to preserve only the table style and formatting, without any contained information.
