Setting User Preferences and System Options¶
The Options command lets you configure program operating parameters, customize settings and shortcuts for commands, and set other preferences.
The following sections are available in the Options dialog box:
To search for specific options in the Options dialog box:
In Search setting, type a term or a system variable to search for related options.
You can find related options by specifying a substring.
A suggestion list with options which contains the sub-string that you enter appears. It shows options as follows:
Option names are shown in regular typeface.
Option paths from the Options dialog box are shown in italic.
In the suggestions list, do one of the following:
Hover the mouse pointer over suggested options to locate them in the Options dialog box. Options display dynamically as you hover over search results.
Click a suggested option to locate and modify it in the Options dialog box.
