System Variable DIMPOST¶

Sets a text prefix, suffix or both, for dimension labels created with subsequent dimension commands.

These strings surround the dimension measurement value. The string “<>” used in the variable setting separates prefixes and suffixes; otherwise the string supplied is used as a suffix.

For example, a variable value of “Approx. <> m” might result in the dimension text “Approx. 12 m”.
