System Variable DIMTAD¶
Determines where to place dimension text.
If activated, the variable takes effect if the dimension text is drawn between the extension lines (see DIMTIX variable) and at the same angle as the dimension line or is placed outside the extension lines.

Centered about the dimension line. The vertical location of dimension text in relation to the dimension line is controlled by the DIMTVP variable. |

Above the dimension line, unless DIMTIH is set to 1 and the dimension line is not horizontal |

Places the text to conform to Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS) |
