Toolbox - Favorites Dialog Boxes

Use the Toolbox - Hole Favorites and Toolbox - Hardware Favorites dialog boxes to view, rename, or delete favorites.

To open the Toolbox - Hole Favorites or Toolbox - Hardware Favorites dialog boxes:

1. Open the Toolbox - Hole or Toolbox - Hardware dialog box.

2. Click Favorites Manager (Favorites toolbar).

Active Standard

Shows the active standard for Toolbox hardware and holes. By default, the favorites list shows favorites you have created for the active standard.

Use the Standards dialog box to set the active standard.

Favorites List

By default, the favorites list contains favorites that you created using the active standard.

An icon indicates the hole category and standard:

Icons with a face indicate a custom standard:

• To list all favorites, click Display favorites for all standards at the bottom of the dialog box.

• To sort the list, click a column head.

• To display a tooltip that contains a detailed description of a favorite, hover over the favorite.

Option	Description
Standard	Indicates the standard used to create the favorite.
Category	Shows the category of the favorite.
Favorite	Shows the name you created for the favorite.
Tooltips	When you hover over a favorite, a tooltip appears, listing all important details: Common characteristics Standard Type Size Scale Specific details Name Creation Method Properties that are specific to the hardware component or hole configuration, such as Head Option, Thread Display, Fastener Length, etc.
	Warns that a favorite is obsolete because the standard on which it is based has been deleted.

Display favorites for all standards

Expands the favorites list to include favorites for standards other than the active standard.

Favorites Buttons and Shortcut Menu

The following options are available through buttons on the right side of the Favorites dialog boxes or on the Favorites shortcut menu.

The Favorites shortcut menu appears when you right-click in the favorites dialog box with one or more favorite selected.

Button	Name	Description
	Rename	(Available when a single favorite is selected) Opens the Toolbox - Rename Favorite dialog box, where you can change the name of the selected favorite.
	Delete	Deletes only the selected favorites.
	Delete All	Deletes all favorites in the list.

Toolbox - Hole dialog box: click Favorites Manager
