Editing a Custom Standard¶
Use the Toolbox table editor to edit data tables within custom standards.
To edit a custom standard:
Do one of the following:
On the ribbon, click Mechanical Content > Manage > Standards.
On the Mechanical toolbar, click Standards
.
On the menu, click Mechanical Content > Standards.
In the Toolbox - Standards dialog box, select a custom standard and click Edit.
In the left pane of the Toolbox - Table Editor, expand a standard and the components it defines until you see components with
icons, indicating that they contain editable table data.
The right pane displays the editable values for the component.
At the top of the right pane, edit any of the following:
Description
Standard
Related Standard
Description Format
In the table data area at the bottom of the right pane, to edit a table value, select a cell and type a new value that is consistent with the value you are replacing.
For example, if the format is fractional, type a fraction.
To add a new row:
Click Add Row.
Replace the <<>> placeholders in each column with values that are consistent with the column.
Note: Placeholders turn to zeros when you begin editing the row. You cannot add another row until you replace the <<>> placeholder text.
To delete one or more rows, select them and click Delete Row.
Click Close.
Click Close to close the Toolbox - Standards dialog box.
