Editing Part References

Use the AM_PartReferenceEdit command to edit BOM-related information for the part that is associated with a specified Part Reference.

The Edit Part Reference dialog lets you edit the component properties and the quantity of the specified Part Reference.

To edit Part References:

1. Do one of the following:

   • On the ribbon, click Mechanical Annotate > BOM > PR Edit.

   • On the menu, click Mechanical Annotate > BOM > Edit Part Reference.

   • Type AM_PartReferenceEdit.

2. In the graphics area, specify a Part Reference.

3. In the Edit Part Reference dialog box, edit the component properties of the Part Reference.

4. Specify the Quantity as needed.

5. Click OK.

Note: You can also double-click a Part Reference to edit component properties and quantity in the Edit Part Reference dialog box.

Ribbon: Mechanical Annotate > BOM > PR Edit
