Working with User-Defined Hatches

You can quickly apply predefined or user-defined non-associative hatches on the geometry in the graphics area.

You can modify the properties of a hatch from the Hatch dialog box:

  • Before applying the specified hatch

  • At any time, when the hatch exists

The Hatch dialog box lets you do the following:

  • Specify the hatch pattern to use

  • Specify the angle and spacing of hatch lines

  • Calculate the new boundaries of a hatch area when modifying an existing hatch

  • Use a cross hatch pattern

  • Specify the minimum number of hatch lines that are drawn in case the area to be hatched is small and it does not match the specified pattern.
