Toolbox - Settings Dialog Box: Annotations

Use the Annotations category of the Toolbox - Settings dialog box to specify settings for hole callouts, balloons, surface finish symbols, and welding symbols that you use to annotate drawings.

To access annotation settings:

1. Do one of the following:

   • On the ribbon, select Mechanical Content > Settings.

   • On the menu, click Mechanical Content > Settings.

   • On the Mechanical toolbar, click Settings .

     In the Settings dialog box, click Annotations.

2. In the Settings dialog box, click Annotations.

Additionally, you can access the dialog box contextually, when you create components:

• by clicking Settings button in the corresponding dialog box

• using the Settings option of the corresponding command (if available).

• Hole Callout Settings

  Use the Hole Callout screen of the Toolbox - Settings dialog box to configure the details for symbol or traditional callouts you add to the holes in your drawing.

• Surface Finish Symbol Settings

  Use the Surface Finish Symbol screen of the Toolbox - Settings dialog box to configure general and text settings for surface finish symbols you insert into drawings.
