Creating Construction Lines Automatically¶
Use the AM_AutoCL command to automatically create horizontal and vertical construction lines at contours or end points of specified entities. Construction lines are created relatively to the coordinate system.
The command opens the Automatic Construction Line Creation dialog box, where you can select the direction of the construction lines. The command automatically recognizes the specified entity and creates the construction lines.
To create construction lines automatically:
Do one of the following:
On the ribbon, click Home > Construction Lines > Automatic Construction Lines.
Type AM_AutoCL.
In the Automatic Construction Line Creation dialog box, click the desired option.
Icons in the dialog box indicate the direction of the construction lines.
In the graphics area, specify the entities on which to draw construction lines.
Press Enter.
