Creating Chamfer Dimensions

The AM_PowerDimensionCham command creates dimensions for chamfers.

Alternatively, you can create chamfer dimensions using the AM_PowerDimension with the Chamfer option.

If you select a power dimension in the graphics area and the ribbon is active, the corresponding contextual ribbon tab appears. The contextual ribbon tab groups options and tools for controlling the DimensionStyle, arrows, dimension lines, and more.

To create a chamfer dimension:

  1. Click Mechanical Annotate > Mechanical Dimension > Chamfer (or type AM_PowerDimensionCham).

  2. In the graphics area, specify the following:

    1. The chamfer line to dimension

    2. The first of the two lines that form the chamfer

    3. The second of the two lines that form the chamfer

  3. Repeat step 2 as necessary, or press Esc.
