Creating a Construction Line Tangent to Two Circles

Use the AM_ConstTC command to create construction lines that are tangent to two specified circles or arcs.

You can switch between a ray and an xline using the AM_ConstSWI command.

To create a construction line tangent to two specified circles or arcs:

  1. Type AM_ConstTC at the command prompt.

  2. In the graphics area, specify:

    1. A first circle or an arc for the construction line to be tangent to.

    2. A second circle or an arc for the construction line to be tangent to.

  3. Repeat steps a and b as necessary, or press Enter.
